GrowBags

Premium Growing Substrate for Professional Cultivation

NatureNeem Coir Coco GrowBags are high-quality growing substrates specifically designed for professional horticulture and greenhouse cultivation. Manufactured from carefully selected coconut coir pith, these grow bags provide an ideal environment for plant roots thanks to their excellent balance of water retention, aeration, and drainage.

The production of NatureNeem GrowBags follows a precise and controlled process to guarantee consistent substrate quality and optimal performance for growers.

Fresh coir pith undergoes a natural maturation process lasting 2 to 3 years, during which it is exposed to monsoon rains that naturally reduce salt, phenol, and tannin levels. The matured material is then refined and screened to remove excess fibers and fine particles, ensuring a uniform and stable structure.

The substrate is then carefully washed to achieve optimal salinity levels, followed by sun drying on clean concrete surfaces to prevent contamination. After preparation, the coir pith is compressed into slabs and sealed in UV-stabilized grow bags, making them easy to transport, store, and hydrate before use.

Each production batch undergoes strict quality control, including testing for expansion capacity, electrical conductivity (EC), and pH balance. This guarantees a clean, reliable, and high-performance substrate suitable for intensive cultivation systems.

NatureNeem Coco GrowBags are ideal for growing vegetables, berries, fruits, flowers, and greenhouse crops, offering growers a sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional substrates.

Why Choose NatureNeem GrowBags ?

The production of Nature Neem Grow Bags involves a meticulous selection and processing method to ensure optimal quality.

Maturation

Fresh coir pith undergoes a 2–3-year natural curing process, exposed to monsoon rains to reduce salt, phenol, and tannin content.

Refinement

The matured coir pith is screened to remove fine particles and long fibers, ensuring uniform consistency.

Washing & Drying

The material is washed to achieve optimal salinity levels and then sun-dried on concrete surfaces to prevent contamination.

Compression & Packaging

The processed coir pith is compressed into slabs of various dimensions and sealed in UV-stabilized poly bags for durability.

Quality Control

Each batch undergoes rigorous testing for expansion capacity, EC, and pH balance before shipment.
This precise process guarantees high-performance grow bags suited for professional agricultural applications.

Closed or Slab type of GrowBags

Theses grow bags contains rectangular slabs made from compressed coir pith and fiber. They are generally 1-meter length, 15 – 20 cm width and around 5-8 cm height. The slab is covered by a UV treated white polythene bags. Planting and draining holes are made according to the requirement.

CocoGrow Solo

Solo GrowBags are made from uniformly sized, sieved coir pith, carefully processed after the fibre is removed. This screening eliminates fine coir dust and baby fibres, resulting in grow bags with exceptional expansion when hydrated-ideal for greenhouse use.

The enhanced structure promotes superior root aeration, making these bags especially effective for plant health. As a generative type, Solo GrowBags offer high water retention while ensuring excellent drainage and airflow.

They are perfectly suited for greenhouses in both tropical and temperate climates, particularly for plants that require ample moisture along with consistent aeration and drainage.

CocoGrow Blend

Contains 50% coco pith + 50% Coco chips (Crush)

The mesocarp (skin) or husk of coconut contains the fiber and pith. The whole husk is cut in small pieces and crushed. It is then blended at equal proportion with the sieved coco pith to obtain the “Blend” type of medium.

As the name indicates, this product provides the perfect blend of air and water. Depending on the plant type, growing practices and temperature it can be generative or vegetative.

CocoGrow Medley

Contains 20% sieved pith + 80% Coco Chips (crush)

Medley grow bags has more of coconut chips but less pith. Thus, it has more aeration, drainage capacities with low water retention when compared to other bags.

This make these bags ideal for corps that require well aerated roots that could not tolerate high moisture. Medley is principally a generative type of planting medium. It is perfect for cultures in temperate oceanic conditions prevailing in European countries.

CocoGrow Precision

Based on local conditions, crop varieties, duration and growing phases of the crop, our customers can also customize their plant medium. They can precise the ratio of the coco chips (crush) and coco pith for their grow bags.

We can even modify the manufacturing and blending process of the medium so as to precisely fit their needs.

Some examples that our customers request us to manufacture :

  • 70% soft peat + 30% Coco Chips (crush)
  • 30% soft peat + 70% Coco Chips (crush)
  • 100% Coco Chips (crush)

CocoGrow Dual

Top layer with coco pith and bottom layer with coco chips (crush)

It is an innovative grow bag by Nature Neem. Some plants require more water during its critical phases but at the same time their roots need to proliferate freely. So instead of blending the pith and fibre we preserve their characteristics by maintaining it in two distinct layers.

The upper layer is made from sieved coco pith that covers 60% of the slab while the bottom 40% is made with coco chips. The top layer retains water and feeds the plants while the bottom layer maintains the roots for free proliferation with good aeration. Thus, it is best fit for plants which need enough water and at the same time require well aerated roots.

It's a success in Europe, especially for tomatoes. Based on the crop or demand of the customers, the ratio of the layers can be adjusted (ex 80 : 20, 50 : 50).

What is different in our GrowBags ?

  • Care is taken to screen dust, fine pith and baby fibers. As it is a time-consuming process, some of the manufactures do not remove them. Hence our grow bags have excellent porosity and oxygenation. They attain maximum expansion in the green houses.
  • Ph (5.5 – 6.5) & EC is controlled at more than 3 stages of the production of production lot. A QC certificate signed by an independent authority accompanies you order.
  • Grow out testes are made from random samples in each lot to test the expansion of the blocks, presence of weed seeds.
  • We utilise UV stabilized Black and White Polythene bag than can withstand for several seasons and can be perfectly recycled as per EU norms.

Design on demand

Based on the demand of our customers, we can add longitudinal grooves, drain slits and pre-drills on the slabs. We can also equally customize the bags by adding square shaped planting and dripper holes at the top, and equally drainage holes at the bottom edges (diamond cuts).

Open Top GrowBags

As against slab type of grow bags, open top grow bags, as its name reveals, have vertical opening all along on its top. It contains a smaller block of compressed coir pith of around 1 kilo with a size of around 20x10x15cm. Upon adding water, based on its initial size, it can produce around 9-12 litres of planting medium that can perfectly replace a pot.

These grow bags been initially a big success in the nurseries, for preparing tree seedling and in the gardening sectors. Later professional vegetable and flower growers start utilising them in green houses due to its easiness in handling and facility to adjust the spaces between the plants.

It is especially a perfect fit for plants that requires more spaces during the matured phases. Like slab type of grow bags, for open top grow bags, we can also prepare Solo, Blend, Medley, Dual or simply prepare the medium as precised by our customers.
