Coir Products

Coir Geotextiles

Coconut Fiber Based

Being biodegradable offers sustainable and cost effective solution for numerous soil erosion control related issues.

Derived from the husks of coconuts, these fibers are removed and then cured to provide semi-permanent control in steep locations or high flow areas.

When compared to other natural fiber products, coconut coir is one of the strongest and most robust erosion control options available. On average, the typical lifespan for all of our coconut fiber products is anywhere from 2 to 5 years.

Coir geotextiles once laid will prevent the erosion of the soil with each mesh acting as checkdams. Besides this each mesh will also act as a green hoses facilitating thehe germision of feeds / routing of saplings.

Once the vegetation takes its routes it will take care of holding the soil together and just prevents soil erosion.

Once the routing of vegetation is complete the function of the Coir geotextiles is over and the same will biodegrade itself into soil, with our posing environmental issues.

Advantages

  • 100 % naturel and biodegradable
  • Reduces soil erosion
  • Lasts for 3-5 years
  • Promotes vegetative growth
  • Economic vs Synthetic geotextiles

Biodegradable Geotextiles

Coir Fiber Based

Coconut Coir Logs are a reliable erosion control product for any area dealing with stabilization or revegetation of hills, banks, shorelines and other erosion prone areas.

Constructed from a mix of core fibers and coir twine netting, these logs can effectively keep soil in place against rain, runoff or other water flows.Coir logs are often used on steep slopes or areas that have a high exposure to waves and currents.

Their large diameters and increased strength have allowed them to be effectively used in restoration projects, stabilization and other erosion control areas.
